It's the America's Most Wanted All Star Award.
Lt. Clay Vannoy was nominated for the award by his 12-year-old daughter Megan.
"He just always tries hard and never gives up and I think he deserves to be recognized, because he's my hero," says Megan Vannoy.
"It made me feel good that she was proud of her dad and thought I was worthy of this," says Lt. Vannoy.
Lt. Vannoy is a proud father of four girls.
He's worked in law enforcement for almost 20 years, including 13 years with the regional SWAT team.
"I think it's well deserved. Clay is a excellent member of our department, an outstanding family man, good person all around," says Capt Charles Kissler of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
Lt. Vannoy is the only first responder to be nominated in Washington.
If he wins the All Star award, he will get 10-thousand dollars, but the lieutenant remains humble.
"I could think of another 100 officers or so in this area that are probably more deserving than me," says Lt. Vannoy.
"I think he's, I'm not going to say better than most fathers but he's just one of the best," says his daughter Megan.
The final result of Lt. Vannoy's nomination is in your hands, you can vote for him online.
