This is a job posting for a Lieutenant spot that has been open for a month now. One person has put in for the job. She used to be a Lieutenant on the unit but her dad made Major so she had to transfer to another unit. I am just curious to see how long they will keep the job open before they fill it. If I had the time needed for the job I would put in for it but I do not have the supervisory time in for the job.

Sergeant experience may be substituted for supervisory experience
for a maximum substitution of one year. Thirty semester hours with
a minimum of six semester hours in Criminal Justice from a college
or university accredited by an organization recognized by the
Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) may be substituted
for one year of non-supervisory experience for a maximum substitution
of one year.
*To ensure compliance with PD-97, the selected applicant will be required to attend or have attended Principles of Supervision (POS) training prior to being assigned to a shift.*

*Outside applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment.*
